Professor Saumya Sindhwani

Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour (Practice), ISB

Professor Sindhwani’s research interests are at the intersection of strategy, leadership and society. She actively investigates the challenges faced by organisations while designing and implementing strategy, given the highly volatile, uncertain and complex business environment we live in today.

An award-winning faculty with extensive experience of the corporate world in various countries of Europe, Africa and Asia. Saumya was also a Research Fellow at the BBC. She was honoured with thought leadership award by Aon Hewitt in 2008.

he has been a part of several corporate executive leaming programs focusing on areas such as Talent Development, Org Leadership. Negotiations, Influencing Skills & Change Management Strategies. Clients who benefitted from Saumya’s expertise at ISB include, Novartis, Goldman Sachs, Google, UHG, ATC, Walmart, Alstom and Accenture. She also taught many senior goverment officials such as the Indian Revenue Officers, DRMs ( and Indian Foreign Officers. She has contributed to teaching in multiple open programmes like Women in Leadership, General Management Programme etc.

Dr Sindhwani received her PhD in Corporate Strategy & Corporate Citizenship from Alliance Manchester Business School and her M.Sc from The London School of Economics & Political Science(LSE).

She is also the Associate Dean of RCI-led Advanced Management Programmes (RCI-AMPs) & Executive Director of Centre for Leaming and Management Practice (CLMP)
